saw this short story on some blog and it really tugged at my heartstrings,
A blind boy sat on the steps of a building with a hat by his feet. He held up a sign which said: “I am blind, please help.” There were only a few coins in the hat.
A man was walking by. He took a few coins from his pocket and dropped them into the hat. He then took the sign, turned it around, and wrote some words. He put the sign back so that everyone who walked by would see the new words. Soon the hat began to fill up. A lot more people were giving money to the blind boy.
That afternoon the man who had changed the sign came to see how things were. The boy recognized his footsteps and asked, “Were you the one who changed my sign this morning? What did you write?” The man said, “I only wrote the truth. I said what you said but in a different way.” He wrote: “Today is a beautiful day but I cannot see it."
maybe we could all stop complaining about how we dont have the most shapely eyes or longest legs or what not, when others out there in the world dont even have eyes to complain about. i guess we're really lucky to begin with yeah.
and somehow i feel this is damn pr HAHA like knowing the right words to say really makes a difference. OKAY I KNOW THATS NOT THE MAIN PT RIGHT.

okay i swear im really bad at blogging consistently (but hello tayzhiyun is worst i think she alr forgot she has a blog) except for when i have pretty pics so here i am blogging hahaha ^^
awesome weekend with the girls at marina barrage! really cant stand the taxi driver who took us there though. at first he insisted marina barrage closed down alr, then when we found signs that led there he refused to read them, just kept asking us "so turn left or right? go straight?" so we had to read out every single sign along the way to him HOW LOUSY RIGHT.
so its like my third week of school alr, school's been good! but kinda stressful i think my classmates are horribly smart whats wrong with them hahaha okay should be whats wrong with me. but for now i have a 1.5 week holiday starting from thurs heehee life is good ^^

oh oh haha sth quite retardedly cute happened at the kindergarten last friday, i discovered this boy hongyi has two gfs in class HAHA one's raeann my fav kid and sophie the angmoh so i was like confronting him about his moral values HAHAHA,
sophie: teacher, hongyi is my bf and one day im going to marry him you know
me: hongyi, sophie is your gf? i thought raeann was your gf!
hongyi: oh both are my gfs lor.
(i was about to lecture him when raeann came up beside me happily)
raeann: sophie see we are so lucky out of all the girls, he chose us!
HAHAHA like how cute pls shes so simple minded but wahlao damn no backbone too.
and there was this joker i told him to draw cabinets for his kitchen drawing, he drew me some boxes and told me, LOOK TEACHER I DREW DISC DRIVES. |

5 more days of freedom, and then thats it. school starts againnnn. having mixed feelings about starting school i guess, but at least i can finally stop shopping and spending money like free haha.
last day at my kindergarten @cck on mon! i miss my kids there alr they say the darnest things:
me: eh today's my last day here you know, nxt week i wont be teaching here anymore.
phoebe: huhh then who will be coming to teach us nxt week?
me: oh another teacher will come i guess.
phoebe: YAY!
all the other kids: (following phoebe) YAY!
me: wah like that i damn sad leh.
suddenly,
kaishin: but i'll miss youuu.
all the other kids: (following her) i'll miss you too!
HAHAHAHA super cute.
thats phoebe and kaishin haha and omg dont you think the boy looks like a shaolin monk?
aww they're so funny to hang out with that i feel like giving birth now, hahaha okay RUBBISH.

haha cant be bothered to do a proper post so shall make do with some pictures first. i really love my new canon camera yay multishot you dont know how much ive missed you <3 watched Devil ytd, really nice movie! but super scary but im so proud of myself i guessed whos the devil correctly!!! kept trying to claim credit for it but arison says thats not the point. oh well.

i love having holidays when everyone's studying, minus having to feel lonely and inactive from time to time. my job as a kindergarten arts teacher has been really fulfilling though haha. wish i could take photos of those naughty kids haha damn cuteeee, feel like abducting a few home each time hoping that their parents wont notice. but neh.
okay sheesh i really need a second job by wed so i hope God hears my prayers tonight pls pls do:(

OKAY. i think i should get back to blogging about hongkong days 5,6 and 7. dragon zeh is about to spit fire at me if i delay further so here goes!!!
haha the reason why cx and i compile days 5, 6 and 7 tgt is because all we did mainly was shopping shopping and more shopping throughout the 3 days. and omg all the fooooooood heehee, 买东西吃东西!

hello all, I'VE QUIT SCHOOL.
after like 3 days of lessons, HAHAHA everyone's like what?! when they hear about it. hope it wasnt a rash decision, i think its not, since at least 10 people encouraged me to after they heard how my classes are like. im currently learning how to read a dictionary, differentiate nouns and verbs, and cancel out common factors in algebra hahaha okay though its just the first few lessons, but i read the entire sem outline and its all jc/sec sch stuff they are reteaching :( so bye psb for now, i'll be going back in the jan intake for a half year course instead!~
in the meantime, MARIO KARTS FTW with dearest anan who's going to be my only playmate for the nxt 5 mths heehee.

heehee hi everyone, i shall now blog about DAY 4: DISNEYLAND!!! :D
damn high since morning as we all love love love disney and all their adorable characters! rained heavily in the morning but since it was typhoon with strong wind, the clouds were quickly blown away and it was damn sunny for the rest of the day with occasional showers (i sound like a weather forecast sheesh). anyway, disney was so magical omg i totally blushed when i saw buzz lightyear and took a photo with him heehee. then i reminded myself what if it was some ugly guy underneath the suit?! so okay i stopped :( cant really sum up disney in words so i think i shall describe with pics instead!

okay im back to blog about day 3 in hongkong, HAHA got inspired by cx's dilligence. we spent the entire day at central, first shopping in the morning then the peak. haha joke, one of us spotted cotton on along one of the roads at central, and we all screamed and ran towards it simultaneously HAHA see how deprived we are from shopping aye!
after lunch, went up to the peak via a longgggggg walk + tram ride! wax museum was fun with all the posing with famous peeps, BUT OMG THERE WAS THIS 'SCREAMING ACTIVITY' ROOM (okay we made that name up) scared the hell out of me srsly. supposed to go into this dark room in a row, then find your way out of the maze while the staff will suddenly appear from sides to scare you?? they made the whole thing seem like an asylum, and had wax figures of mummies(!!), insane people with blood dripping from their mouths etc :( i kept my head down and against cx's back the whole time i was in it so i didnt see anything except a crawling guy, but when we got out i was the last to recover HAHA couldnt even stand straight sheesh. i even secretly prayed to God while in the room haha eh scary okay :(
then we went up to the rooftop viewing platform, loved the scenery ttm srsly! the wind was bloody strong and we thought that was just because we were so high up, but when we went downstairs later we realised typhoon signal 1 was up alr, COOL RIGHT. went lan kwai fong at night which is like sg's clarke quay, really looks like what we always see in hk dramas. nice! :D

hahaha oh yeah, we did facial masks while in hongkong since they were so cheap and good. first night i did it, i forgot to peel off this foil layer on the outside and i just stuck it onto my face. so when both me and hy were done and we looked at each other she was like, "gdfren why do you look like iron man." HAHAHAHA.
so second night we tried again. this time i excitedly tore off the foil, tgt with the bottom section of my mask. EPIC FAIL :(
no pics of that because we were busy laughing hahaha.
